Northeast Tennessee Regional Hub
Working hard to be a collaborative partner and a catalyst for economic development, to build prosperity for all the communities we serve.
“It’s not so much about telling business and community leaders what the Hub wants to do. It’s about letting them know the Hub is here to help them achieve their own goals."

NETNHUB Begins Strategic Planning Process
The Northeast Tennessee Regional Hub (NETNHub, the Hub) has begun an internal strategic planning process to ensure its actions conform to the mission, vision, and values of the organization moving forward.
The Hub has engaged Jackson, Tenn.-based Younger Associates to facilitate the process. "Dr. Sharon Younger and her team are nationally known for their research in economic development and labor force analysis," said John Rose, NETNHub executive director. "They have advised economic development organizations throughout the Southeast in planning and implementation. We look forward to having the Younger Associates team in our region to hear directly from community leaders."
Hub staff have been active in preparation for the strategic planning initiative. More than 50 one-on-one meetings have been held between Hub staff and community, business, and economic development leaders since Dec. 1.
The timetable for the strategic planning initiative aims to have the full report from Younger to the NETNHub Board before the close of the fiscal year, June 30.
